As with all businesses we have had to change and adapt to the current Covid-19 situation, whilst still supporting our customers.
As a result of the latest Government and Public Health England guidelines, we recently outlined a number of new processes to allow us to continue our support for the Agricultural sector in a safe and effective manner. This includes virtual machine tours, on-site maintenance with social distancing and Facetime appointments.
This weekend presented our test run for these new guidelines when an existing customer got in touch regarding his Yamaha Grizzly 700, which was purchased and serviced by Ace ATV.
Richard explained:
“I haven’t given it a good run for a few weeks and as such it wouldn’t start when I needed to take it out. So at 9.00am on Saturday morning I phone Murray Boss who promptly ran through a few quick fixes even though they are closed today.
Unfortunately these were unsuccessful but Murray would not give up and FaceTimed me to explain how to remove the covers to get to the starter motor. After several FaceTime conversations the quad started which was great news.”
Any day of the week, Murray is happy to pick up the phone and help where he can. Normally we would have sent one of our Engineers out to fix Richards quad, but this is now unfortunately a last resort with the current Covid-19 restrictions in place.
Richard was very happy with Facetiming Murray, which allowed them to try a number of fixes for his quad bike. Richard said “this method worked really well and saved a visit and got me up and running quickly.”
We were thrilled to receive such a positive outcome and feedback. Richards patience was very much appreciated as Murray talked him through what to do. We aim to extend this service to all customers where required, allowing us to keep you and your business going.
“As such I would like to recommend ACE ATV as I would have been stuck without Murray’s kind “out of hours” support. Thanks Murray I really appreciate it.” Thanks Richard!
