Last week we sent Carl and Abigail on an EASI® Rider ATV Safety Training Day at Lincomb Equestrian in the Severn Valley.
The EASI® Rider Course is an interactive, hands-on learning experience that is both practical and enjoyable. As well as teaching safe riding techniques, the course covers safety clothing and protective equipment, pre-ride inspections, risk assessment and environmental issues.
Carl (on of our ATV Specialists) and Abigail (our Accounts Manager) had a fantastic day, learning about all the pre-checks you need to handle your Quad Bike safely, before being let loose on the course with their instructor.
At the end of the day they went off to a hill track to learn how to handle their ATV’s up and down the very bumpy muddy tracks. They spent the day with 4 other people – 3 of which they knew well as customers of Ace ATV!
The European All-Terrain Vehicle Safety Institute (EASI®) is a ‘not for profit’ organisation tasked to deliver a programme of safety education, training and awareness for ATV riders (sit astride) and SbS (side by side sit in seat configuration) Operators in the UK. Their primary goal is to promote the safe and responsible use of ATVs & SbS’s thereby reducing the number of accidents and injuries that may result from improper operation.
When you purchase a new Quad or Buggy through us you qualify for FREE EASI Training. If you buy a second hand machine you are still able to access the training with excellent subsidy.
